This Privacy Policy describes how RojoBingo (the "Service") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information. It applies to the RojoBingo website, player app, and related services. By using the Service, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

• Account information — email address, handle/display name, authentication data (one-time login codes, passkey public keys), date of birth or age attestation collected at signup, and account status;
• Gameplay data — rooms joined, cards played, credits balance and ledger history, chat messages sent in-room, wins/losses, and progression/XP;
• Purchase & billing data — purchase history, VIP subscription status, and transaction identifiers. For web purchases, payment card details are handled directly by our payment processor and are not stored by RojoBingo. For in-app purchases on iOS or Android, payment is handled by Apple or Google, and we receive only purchase confirmation and entitlement data;
• Device & usage data — IP address, browser/device type, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, and general interaction logs;
• Communications — support requests, survey responses, and marketing preferences;
• Player-protection preferences — settings you choose for optional responsible-play tools, such as spend caps or account pauses;
• Optional profile data — avatar image, if you choose to upload one.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to: operate and secure the Service (including fraud and abuse detection); maintain accurate credit ledgers and game fairness records; process purchases and manage VIP subscriptions; personalize your experience (e.g. leaderboard rank, reload rate); send transactional messages (login codes, account notices, purchase receipts); send marketing communications where you have not opted out; and comply with legal obligations.

3. Cookies & Tracking

The Service uses essential cookies and local storage for session authentication and preferences. If analytics or advertising tools are added in the future, they will be disclosed here along with any applicable opt-out mechanism.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell personal information. We may share data with: infrastructure and hosting providers who process data on our behalf under contract; payment processors and app-store platforms who process purchases; email delivery providers for transactional messages; partner bingo halls, but only aggregate or non-identifying data unless you explicitly interact with a hall's public event; and law enforcement or regulators where required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and ledger data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to satisfy fairness-auditing, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations. Where a specific legal or accounting requirement calls for a longer or shorter retention period for a category of data, that requirement governs.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage email preferences from Settings, or contact us using the details below to exercise these rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18 (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn an account belongs to someone under the eligible age, we will close it.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including passkey/OTP-based authentication and transport encryption. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Users

The Service may be operated from, and your information may be processed in, a country other than your own. By using the Service you consent to this transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date, and, where required, notified to you directly.
