Types of bingo wins

Lines, shapes, blocks, coverall, and multi-stage games — how winning patterns are grouped.

Every round is won by completing a specific pattern before anyone else — but "pattern" covers a range of shapes, from the simplest line to a full card.

The main families

  • Lines — any single horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line of marked numbers.
  • Shapes — geometric patterns like four corners, an X, a plus sign, or a frame.
  • Blocks — solid rectangular areas of the card.
  • Coverall (full house) — every cell on the card, the biggest pattern to complete.

What about progressive stages?

Some games progress through multiple stages in a single round — for example, awarding a smaller prize for the first line, then a bigger one for two lines, then the top prize for the full house or coverall. Each stage has its own pattern and its own prize, so a round can produce more than one winner.
